Oh no! Scientist aren’t alone on this, I’m not so happy either!

“…the world may run completely out of helium gas within 30 years. Such an outage could have major implications on space travel and exploration, scientific and nuclear research, and even medical advances and early detection of diseases.

To make the situation all the more frustrating is the way we are depleting this resource: selling the gas at unbelievable low prices for party balloons and other uses. The writing on the wall is clear: the world is running out of the precious gas at an alarming rate, and scientists worry if current conditions continue, we may have to travel, quite literally, to the ends of the Earth to find more.”

Skinny Jeans are Killers!

Skinny jeans might be the everyday pant for most women, but wearing too-tight pants every day might lead to meralgia parenthetic (MP), a form of itchy, burning, tingling nerve damage on the pelvis and upper thigh. According to Consumer News, skinny jeans are also responsible for bladder infections, yeast infections, dermatitis, blood clots, and a condition called lipotraphia semicircular, when your skin develops depressions due to constant and uneven pressure.

I’m a huge fan of marketing stunts and so far this is one of my favorite ads to start off this year. This ad was done to promote the upcoming release of Chronicle in theaters February 3, 2012. This marketing stunt were three remote control shaped people that were flying devices and was released over New York City. A viral marketing company Thinkmodo who are based in New York did the stunt. By the look of the video clip, their message really reached out to viewers by seeing phones and even ipads being taken out to record what was happening. We shall see in the movie ratings this coming weekend if it actually succeeded.
